Company
Introduction
The Manual Company Verification feature allows users to search for a specific company within our Trust Platform, leveraging our extensive data sources. This section of the training manual will guide you through the process of conducting a company search, understanding the search results, and loading a comprehensive report for the selected company.
This tool is only available for global client accounts. For Brazilian accounts, the search via Trust continues to use "New Query" and the results of the query are found in "Executions".
Navigating to Company Search
To begin the company verification process, follow these steps:
Log in to the Trust Platform using your credentials;
Once logged in, navigate to the "Queries" menu on the sidebar;
Locate and click on the "Company" section.
Conducting a Company Search
In the Company Verification section, you will find a search interface;
Start by selecting the desired country from the drop-down list;
Enter the company name or registration number in the provided search field;
Click on the "Search" button to initiate the search process.
Understanding search results
Once the search is complete, the system will retrieve the matching company records from our data providers. The results will be presented as a list, ranked in order of the most likely match. Duplicate records, if any, will be merged together and labelled for clear identification.
Filtering and sorting search results
To refine the search results and find the desired company efficiently, you can utilise the filtering and sorting options.
Selecting the correct company
Carefully review the search results and select the company that best matches your intended target. Take note of the labels indicating which datasets the company records have been matched against to ensure transparency and accuracy.
Loading the company report
After selecting the desired company from the search results, you can proceed to load a comprehensive report consolidating all the available data on the target company.
Click on the selected company's name or associated action button to load the report;
The report will display detailed information obtained from various data sources, providing a comprehensive overview of the company's background, financial status, legal records, and more.
