## **Authentications** <a href="#bbk-f1vye" id="bbk-f1vye"></a>

An authentication process may encompass all the validations carried out according to the policy established when the SDK was initialized. The resource called Authentications (*`/authentications`)* is a service for returning a authentication attempt register, based on the provided attempt ID.

## **Create Identity** <a href="#bbk-f1vye" id="bbk-f1vye"></a>

The identity creation process is necessary to enable authentication of a given user on subsequent attempts. For customers who do not use the CAF onboarding flow, the Create Identity service available at (*`/identity`)* provides a way to create identities via API and can be integrated into the customer flow.
